Administrative Sales Assistant
Stephens Media Group is a privately-owned company that uses the power of radio and digital advertising to generate revenue for local businesses. We do this by communicating the right message, to the right audiences, so businesses can start seeing new customers right away. We are searching for an Administrative Sale Assistant for the Watertown, New York office. The ideal candidate is a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion. Candidate can expect to perform general office duties including reception tasks receiving and distributing office mail, answering a multi-line phone and distributing calls, managing office supplies, other duties include greeting our listeners, clients, and guests in an enthusiastic, inviting, and professional manner. This position will also provide support to with radio traffic and other duties. Experience with social media content and management a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Answer multi-line phone in professional and inviting manner.
- Utilize software program for prize distributions for radio station giveaways.
- Enter sales orders and advertising copy instructions.
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
- Resolve office-related issues and respond to requests in timely manner
- Maintain trusting relationships with clients, colleagues and listener
- Reconcile daily payments/deposits from clients, manage reporting.
- Handle all incoming bills and invoices and routing to appropriate departments.
- Work with corporate on daily accounts receivable functions.
- Pull weekly aging and past due accounts and work with clients on resolution
- Perform general administrative assistant duties.
- Assist with other duties & tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience as a receptionist, office assistant, accounting clerk, radio traffic or in another relevant administrative role
- Experience using multi-line phone system.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Gmail, MS Office & Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education
High School Diploma/GED
Position Type: Part Time
Work Schedule: M-F, 20-25 hours per week
Pay Range: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

We are looking for a competent Radio & Digital Advertising, Account Executive to find business opportunities and manage customer relationships in our Watertown, New York Market. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and radio &/or digital advertising with excellent customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional able to achieve a balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach. The goal is to find opportunities and turn them into long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction. The Successful Candidate will receive a guaranteed monthly income!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
- Present products to prospective clients
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role
- 2+ years in radio &/or digital advertising sales is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Enthusiastic and passionate
EDUCATION
- High school diploma
- BS or BA in business administration, sales, advertising, or marketing, preferred but not required.
